FAQ's

My Order

How long will my order take?

Orders that include both your prescription and PD will take on average about 1 -2 business days to process for single vision prescriptions and 3-5 business days for progressive prescriptions. If the frame you ordered is not in stock, it is necessary for us to order it from the frame manufacturer. In this case, it may take a few days longer for us to get it from the vendor and to our lab. Sometimes, vendors discontinue frame before we can remove it from our site. In this case, we will notify you immediately after receiving your order. All orders take 1-5 business days to ship. Orders that are missing important information may require additional time for processing.

How can I give you my prescription?

We can accept your prescription in a few ways:

  • After your order is placed, our optician will email you instructions on how to get your prescription to us.
  • Send us a picture of the Rx with your phone and email to [email protected] (please be sure to include your order number).
  • Fax your prescription to us at 801.466.2865

If you got an eye exam for glasses or contact lenses, the eye doctor must give you a copy of your prescription, as required by the FTC’s Eyeglass and Contact Lens Rule– whether you ask for it or not. It’s the law. The doctor can’t require you to pay an extra fee, buy eyeglasses or contact lenses, or sign a waiver form.

Prescriptions and Rx Information

What is my PD, and how do I get it?

Your PD is the distance between your pupils in millimeters, and it allows us to align your prescription perfectly with your unique eyes. Most of the time, your eye doctor will have it on your eyeglass prescription. If it is not, we may be able to make your glasses using an average PD measurement based on our optician’s calculations. However, an accurate measurement may be necessary and our opticians will advise you if this is the case with your order.

What is an FSA or HSA?

A HSA (or Health Savings Account) is a medical savings account of pre-tax dollars, usually offered by some employers. The account allows you to set aside a portion of your wages to pay for health and wellness expenses.
